Alladeen was awarded a Special Citation OBIE "in recognition of outstanding achievement in Off Broadway and Off-Off Broadway theatre during the 2003-2004 season". The awards were announced at the 49th Annual Village Voice OBIE Awards held at Webster Hall, New York on 17 May 2004.

Alladeen was voted among the Top Ten shows of the year 2003 by the Chicago Sun Times and The Chicago Tribune; and was nominated for a Manchester Evening News Award 2003.
